Try it First – The Bernina Longarm Experience

 

Are you thinking of owning a Bernina longarm quilting machine?  Our longarm machines, are precisely manufactured down to the very last detail. BERNINA stands for quality and Swiss tradition for more than 125 years.

 

The decision to buy a longarm machine is not an easy one so come along and try it first away from the hustle and bustle of the quilt shows.  Spend a day at our bespoke studio with our two representatives:

 

Joy Edgington, Patchwork/Quilting tutor, longarm quilting educator, and founder of Pastures New Quilting

Denise Geach, award winning quilter, Patchwork/Quilting tutor, and Bernina longarm owner

 

On this interactive day you will have the opportunity to find out all you need to know about owning and using a longarm quilting machine.  There will be time to get hands on with both stand up and sit-down machines so that you can decide the right frame for you. 

 

There are a number of options regarding machine and frame size for you to choose from and the studio is currently home to:

• Q16, Q20 and Q24 machines
• Sit down Hydraulic and Foldable tables
• Studio Frame and Classic Frames

 

We also recognise that for some of you it may be more practical for you to consider larger, but more traditional sewing machines so there is also the Bernina 770 on hand for you to compare against.

 

Joy and Denise can give you the inside knowledge, advice, and guidance you need to help you choose the right option for you.  They can also discuss additional options for techniques such as pantograph and ruler work.

 

The day costs £30 and includes a sandwich lunch and light refreshments.  Starting at 10.00am and finishing at 3.00pm, the workshop will be held at our studio in Redditch. Information to follow on purchase.
