Bernina Q Series Longarm Training Day

If you own a Bernina longarm Q Series quilting machine and want to know more about getting the best from it, then this training day is meant for you.

Come and spend a day at our bespoke studio with our two longarm quilting representatives: Joy Edgington, Patchwork/Quilting tutor, longarm quilting educator, and founder of Pastures New Quilting Denise Geach, award winning quilter, Patchwork/Quilting tutor, and Bernina longarm owner.

On this interactive day they will start by taking you through the best way to set up your machine for your needs (including loading a quilt onto a frame) and deal with any queries you may have relating to threads, needles, tension and wadding.

Then, as well as helping you to discover your preferred free motion quilting style bygetting hands on with either a frame or sit-down machine, they will take you through techniques such as quilt marking, using pantographs, ruler work and couching.

As quilters themselves, Joy and Denise can give you the inside knowledge, advice,and guidance you need to help you choose the right way forward for you so that youcan relax and enjoy your Q series machine.

The day includes a sandwich lunch and light refreshments. Starting at 9.30am and finishing at 3.30pm, the workshop will be held at our longarm studio in the midlands.
